Another new business was welcomed to the community by the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce last Wednesday, March 25: Elite Hearing Care (EHC). A ribbon cutting was put on by the Chamber, with EHC offering food to those in attendance.
The Waycross office is only the most recent addition to Elite Hearing Care, with offices in Valdosta, Douglas, Tifton, and Moultrie. The office, located at 201 Tebeau Street, was formerly Coastal Hearing and Balance, before being purchased by EHC owner Scott Willis.
When asked what services will be offered, Willis responded, “Anything to do with hearing aids and hearing better. Testing, we dispense the hearing aids, and we maintain the hearing aids.”
“We’re here to help people,” he continued. “If I can help, I want to help. The joy of what I do is seeing that reaction when somebody hears for the first time in a long time.”
Willis concluded, “There’s been a lot of tears shed through the years, and I love what I do, and so does that staff. I’ve got a really good staff.”
