An investigation is underway into the death of a woman on Olin Manning Circle in Blackshear Sunday afternoon, Jan. 29.
Sheriff Ramsey Bennett confirmed the death, but declined additional comment.
“We are awaiting identification and cause of death from the state crime lab before we can release any additional information,” the sheriff said.
Olin Manning Circle is located off U.S. Highway 84 on the western outskirts of Blackshear.
