Haley Dixon, Women’s and Children’s Services Director at Memorial Satilla Health, was recently named the recipient of the 2025 Randy Sharpe Health Hero Award. She was recognized during the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce’s 91st Annual Banquet.
Dixon, a member of the Memorial Satilla Health team for 11 years, is known for her compassionate leadership and commitment to clinical excellence. As a nurse leader, she has made a lasting impact on pat ients, families and staff through her focus on highq uality, patientcentered care.
Dixon’s work extends well beyond the hospital walls. Actively involved in community outreach, she leads educational initiatives focused on women’s and children’s health. She also organizes an annual community baby shower to support new and expecting families and also recently hosted a Butterfly Release Ceremony to honor families who have experienced the loss of a newborn or infant.
“Haley’s compassion, resilience, and dedication truly embody what it means to serve others,” said Chief Nursing Officer Jen Weaver. “She continuously goes above and beyond to support our patients and strengthen our community.”
