Pierce County Middle School’s (PCMS) Junior Beta Club recently hosted a lemonade stand to raise money for Mattie’s Mission. Mattie’s Mission is an organization created in honor of Mattie Goble which provides financial, emotional and spiritual support to local families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. Lemonade stands were one of Mattie’s favorite things, making this fundraiser especially meaningful. The Junior Beta lemonade stand raised $420 to help support the ongoing work of Mattie’s Mission. Shown above (l-r) are Mattie’s sister Millie Goble, PCMS Jr. Beta Vice President Yasmeen Yasiji, PCMS Jr. Beta President Jackson Ferrell and Mattie’s mother Tina Goble, receiving the donation.
