George Colonel “G.C.” Stokes, former paramedic with Pierce County Emergency Medical Service (EMS), passed away Thursday, March 19. He was 70.
Stokes was known for his dedication as a paramedic and for his servant’s heart in taking care of others.
A de-voted family man, he loved his children and grandchildren. He loved to fish, watch westerns and make people laugh. Animals, farming and mechanics were also some things he loved to do.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 23, from the Pearson- Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
