Blackshear Church of God has partnered with local businesses to bring something special to the community this Easter season.
Thursday, April 2, shoppers are advised to keep their eyes open for 10 prize-filled eggs hidden throughout the downtown Blackshear area. The same day, Blackshear Church of God will post hints on their Facebook page giving clues as to where the eggs are hidden.
“This is more than just an egg hunt—it’s a chance to connect, celebrate and invite others to the hope that Easter brings,” says Bridget Williams, wife of Blackshear Church of God Pastor John Williams.
Both husband and wife invite the entire community to join the fun and take the next step by celebrating the true meaning of Easter this Sunday at Blackshear Church of God. They also extended thanks to the event sponsors; Cotton Pickin’, Southern Sippin’, Pierce Nutrition, Kattywampus Boutique of Blackshear and Eagle Nutrition of Patterson.
“Come worship, bring your family and experience the joy of the resurrection together,” says Pastor Williams. “Let’s make this holy week full of the love of Christ, the joy of community and the amazing celebration of our Risen Savior —we can’t wait to see you!”
