Deborah Rhoden Manning

JESUP — Deborah Rhoden Manning, 75 of Jesup, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the Hospice of South Georgia Inpatient Unit.

The Brantley County native had lived in Wayne County most of her life and attended Jesup Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Manning was a retired Walmart employee and loved traveling to the mountains with her sisters.

Her husband of 46 years, Slaton Calvin Manning, preceded her in death.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Chris (Karla Rose) Manning of Jesup; three grandchildren, Jarrod (Jennifer) Manning, Kelci (Colby) Herrin and Jace Manning; her great grandson and her heart, Mac Jarrod Manning; a brother, Richard (Debry) Rhoden of Raybon; two sisters, Janice Bailey of Jesup and Kathy (Danny) Moody of Nahunta; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, March 30, 2026, at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Joe Manning and Rev. Gary Ryals officiating.

Interment followed in the Manningtown Cemetery. Active pallbearers were her family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.
