Pierce County’s top-ranked Lady Bears and Bears tennis teams captured their respective divisions Saturday, March 21 in the two-day Wildcat Invitational tournament in Kingsland hosted by Camden County. The Lady Bears improved to 15-0 winning all three matches by 4-1 scores. PCHS opened tourney play Friday, March 20 downing St. Vincent’s Academy. They followed with victories over North Paulding and Camden County running their record to 7-0 against Class 6A competition. The Bears improved to 13-2 with a three-match sweep. PCHS blanked Benedictine 5-0 Friday and followed with 4-1 wins Saturday over North Paulding and Camden County. Both program will be the top seeds at the Region 3-AA tournament.
