Lady Bears claw past Camden County to win 3-team match

ST. MARYS — Four-time defending state champion Pierce County clipped host Camden County by one stroke to capture a three-team match here Thursday at the Club at Osprey Cove.

The Lady Bears shot a team score of 124 with the Lady Wildkittens shooting 125. Brunswick was the third school with the Lady Pirates posting a 159.

Mollie Kate Dixon led PCHS with a two-over-par nine-hole score of 38. She was followed by Belle Sinclair's 41 and Morgan Hull’s 45 for the team score.

Kadance Hall posted a 46 and Brooke Dixon shot 47 respectively. Rhyan Tompkins shot 48 with Grayson Harris shooting 50.

Camden County was led by the 40 of Sarah Beth Wilson. Brunswick’s low round was a 47 by Asa Roberts.
