The Okefenokee Heritage Center will host the 11th annual Okefenokee Color Run on Saturday, March 28. This year's celebratory theme is “America 250!”
The 5k run begins 8 a.m., followed by the 9 a.m Fun Run/Walk. The fast, flat route winds through the quiet neighborhood surrounding OHC, making it an excellent choice for a first 5k or for a personal best.
This family-friendly event supports the ongoing mission of the Okefenokee Heritage Center to preserve and promote the history and cultural arts of southeast Georgia. Advanced registration is available online at okefenokeeheritagecenter.org or on race day beginning at 7 a.m.
5k registration is $25 before March 20 and guarantees a free shirt; $30 after March 20 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is $15 before March 20 and guarantees a free shirt; $20 after March 20.
