Event slated Saturday at BCHS campus
CANEY BAY — Brantley County Schools would like to inform the public the campuses at Brantley County High School and Brantley County Middle School will be closed Saturday, March 28, 2026, for the entire day.
The Brantley County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), in partnership with the Brantley County Sheriff’s Department, Brantley County Schools Police Department, Brantley County Schools, EMS, Fire Department, state law enforcement agencies, other state safety agencies, and local public safety partners, will be conducting a full-scale emergency response exercise on the BCHS campus on this date.
During this exercise, no visitors will be allowed on the campuses of either BCHS or BCMS.
Residents in the surrounding area may notice increased activity from law enforcement, emergency vehicles and first responders during the exercise. Please do not be alarmed by the presence of emergency personnel or vehicles in the area during this exercise.
If you observe emergency vehicles or activity associated with this exercise, please do not call 911 unless you have information about an unrelated emergency.
