Okefenokee Heritage Center Color Run slated Saturday, March 28 at 8 a.m.
The Okefenokee Heritage Center, 1460 N.Augusta Avenue, has its 11th annual Okefenokee Color Run at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 28.
Theme of the race is tied to the nation’s 250th birthday. The 5k run begins at 8 a.m., followed by the Fun Run/Walk at 9 a.m.
Registration for the 5k is $25 before March 20 and $30 after. Cost of the fun run is $15 and $20.
Those signing up by March 20 are guaranteed a Tshirt. There are family, OHC member, and sponsor discounts.

Satilla Riverkeeper Spring Gala is Saturday, March 28 at Blueberry Hill The Satilla Riverkeeper will hold a Spring Gala at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at the Blueberry Hill Event Venue, 385 Lynn Holly Lane, Hoboken.
The evening will include dinner, music, keynote speaker an open bar, and both a live auction and a silent auction. Tickets are $150 per person.
All proceeds will support the Satilla Riverkeeper’s mission to protect the Satilla River.

Waynesville Baptist Community Worship Service Sunday, March 29 WAYNESVILLE — Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting a Community Worship Service Sunday, March 29 at 6 p.m., with guest speaker Pastor David Farrior of Nahunta Global Methodist Church.
Special music will be offered by the Nahunta Global Methodist Church Choir. A finger food fellowship will be enjoyed after the service. All are welcome and invited to attend.
Southern Forest World to hold Easter Egg hunt Saturday, April 4
Southern Forest World, 1440 N. Augusta Avenue, will stage an Easter Egg hunt beginning at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 4.

Memorial Satilla Health child birth classes begin Monday, May 18 Memorial Satilla Health has scheduled bi-monthly maternity classes and monthly tours of its Birthing Center.
Tours and classes are held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the MSH Birthing Center Conference Room, 1900 Tebeau Street. Those interested can register at memorialsatillahealth. com/calendar.
Classes will be held May 18, July 20, September 21 and November 16. Birthing Center Tours remaining are April 7, May 6, June 11, July 10, August 9, September 6, October 12, November 10 and December 11.
Class topics will include breastfeeding, Cesarean sections (C-sections), diet and exercise, preparing for labor and delivery, relaxation techniques and vaginal deliveries.
