Ribbon
NAHUNTA – Bill Norris Ribbon, 76 of Nahunta, passed away Saturday morning, March 21, 2026 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.
Born in Waynesville, Ribbon’s parents were Minin Ribbon and Mary Miller Ammons. He is also preceded in death by four brothers, Melvin Ribbon, Albert Ribb on, George Ammons and Marty Ammons; and a sister, Betty Strickland.
Ribbon served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and loved working in his yard and cooking.
Survivors include two sisters and a brother-inlaw, Libby Hagen (Charles) and Pam Hendrix all of Hoboken; a sister- in-law, Doris Ribbon of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
