A couple of days ago, I received an email from a lady representing an international global art gallery located in Sweden.
It also said in the email that by spring they will be opening another one in the Netherlands. They had seen my GREAT BLUE HERON IN THE OKEFENOKEE SWAMP photo and wanted to set up a conference call with me within a week or two. I could pick out the date and the time. Also, the lady who had contacted me would be in on the call.
Last night (Sunday, March 15) I responded to her email and asked her one question. Where did you happen to see my photo?
She responded back the next morning (Monday, March 16) saying they (Art Gallery employess) saw it on the Georgia Council for the Arts website and it was something that really caught their eye.
She wanted to know if I was able to ship my photos anywhere globally if they were purchased? I told her that I didn’t see why not.
I sent books to Australia one time, so I figure it is possible.
They were also interested in seeing some more of my work when we do the conference call. I set it up for Tuesday, March 24.
I think it would really be neat to have some of my Southeast Georgia pictures hanging in Sweden.
She also said they are getting ready to open another art Gallery in the Netherlands very soon.
So, we will see and hopefully learn more about what is going on.
