The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering two valuable training opportunities for business owners and professionals in Southeast Georgia. These programs are designed to help businesses strengthen financial knowledge, improve operational efficiency and stay current with emerging technology tools.
Navigating the New QuickBooks Online Platform and AI Agents This live webinar takes place noon-1 p.m. March 24. The cost is $29.
QuickBooks Online recently introduced major updates in addition to artificial intelligence tools. The webinar is meant to help participants understand those changes and how to use the new features effectively. Participants will learn how to:
• Navigate the updated Quick-Books Online interface.
• Understand the new platform layout and experience.
• Use AI agents to improve efficiency.
• Understand the purpose of the business feed.

The Financial Fundamentals for Business Owners This free workshop is 9 a.m. – noon Thursday, April 9 at the UGA Marine Extension, 715 Bay Street in Brunswick. There is no cost to attend.
This in-person workshop helps business owners better understand financial data and how it supports strategic decision- making. Participants will learn how to:
• Understand financial statements.
• Improve cash flow and profitability.
• Establish financial controls.
• Gain access to capital. These programs are open to the public and provide excellent insight for entrepreneurs, managers, and anyone responsible for business financial decisions.
