The Pierce County Chamber of Commerce has officially announced the date for the 2026 Pierce County Chamber Gala.
The gala will take place 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Eagle Station in Patterson. Entertainment will be by Southbound Events and dinner by Angeleek with Zel’s Catering. The event will also feature a silent auction and giveaways.
This annual event brings together local business leaders, community partners and supporters of the chamber to celebrate the growth, achievements and bright future of Pierce County. “It is always a memorable night filled with connection, recognition and community pride,” says chamber director Christi Pitts.
Pitts reminds everyone the deadline for Community Star nominations is March 20. The following awards are voted on by the community, making timely nominations of the essence. Awards will be announced April 2 at a private press conference: Citizen of the Year, Business Leader of the Year. Leona Dixon Bright Spot Award, Love Like Lana Award and the Dr. Catherine Henry Community Health Award.
The following awards in addition to the above awards will be presented at the April 23 gala and will be voted on by outside committees: Better Hometown Bravo to Business Award, Farmer of the Year, S. Dow Nimmer Award, Hugh P. Walker Educator of the Year and Barber’s Pharmacy Years of Service Award.
Pitts says each of these honors plays an key role in recognizing those who stand out, make a difference and help keep our community strong.
