St. Joseph’s Azalea Festival is March 23 St. Joseph’s will be holding their Azalea Festival 8 a.m - 2 p.m. March 21. There will be BBQ, a sweet shop, country store and vendors.

The event will be held in the church social hall. Vendor spots are still available. For more information, please contact Beverly Deloach at 912-288-4428.

Youmans Chapel to have gospel sing A local singing group “The Pathlighters” will be singing at the 11 a.m. March 29 service at Youmans Chapel Baptist Church. Lunch will be served following the service. Brother Jimmy Thrift, pastor, and members of Youmans Chapel Congregation invite the public to attend and enjoy worshipping through song and sharing lunch. Youmans Chapel is located on Dean Still Road in Blackshear.

Patterson Baptist to host sunrise service Patterson Baptist will host sunrise service at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 5. The service will be led by Nathaniel Anderson of Evergreen Church near Bristol.

Choir members or just those who like to sing, and wish to join us in Celebration of the Resurrection, please meet in the choir room at 6:30 a.m. to go over the music (no choir robes).

Immediately following the service, PBC will be hosting a light breakfast for all of those attending the Sunrise Service.

Afterwards, Patterson Baptist will have its 9 a.m. Easter Service with the PBC Choir (Marvelous Love Medley) and Praise Band with Pastor Steve Kegley leading the sermon, followed by Sunday School.

There will be no evening service.
