Brantley County High School’s track programs opened the season participating in two meets.
BCHS ran in the five-team, third annual Helen Willis Fluker Invitational Thursday, March 5 in Jesup hosted by Wayne County and at the Thursday, March 12 three-team Ware County meet.
No team scores were released for the March 5 meet which included Bacon County, Long County, Pierce County and Wayne County.
Ware scored 207 points to beat the Lady Herons (140) and McIntosh County Academy (66) at the March 12 meet. The Gators soared past the 300-point total for the second time in two weeks piling up 310 points to easily beat BCHS (130) and MCA (55).
