NAHUNTA — Brantley County officials recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the new pickleball courts at the Brantley County Recreation Department.
The project was made possible through SPLOST (Special Local Option Sales Tax), the support of the Brantley County Commissioners and the Brantley County Recreation Advisory Board, whose commitment to expanding recreational opportunities continues to benefit citizens of all ages.
Pickleball, one of the fastestgrowing sports in the country, offers a fun and accessible way for residents to stay active and connect with others. The new courts are now open and available for public use.
Brantley County residents are encouraged to take advantage of this new amenity designed to serve the entire community.
