WAYCROSS — Mrs. Gail Davis, 81, passed away Saturday morning, March 7, 2026, at Baptist Village Retirement Communities.
She was born January 4, 1945, in Savannah to the late Sam Peeples and Annie Dial Peeples. Mrs. Davis retired from Head Wear, where she worked as a trimmer for many years. She was a faithful member of Waresboro Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Charles Davis, Sr.; and two sons, James Anthony Davis and Marvin Charles Davis, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Elizabeth Shaw of Blackshear; a daughter-in-law, Susanne Kandrazi of Blackshear; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 11) at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
