Executive NAACP meeting at library The Executive meeting of the NAACP is held the first Thursday of each month. The meeting is held at the Ware County library at 5:30 p.m.
The general meeting of the NAACP is held on the fourth Thursday of each month. The meeting will be held at New Mount Pleasant Church, 901 Ossie Davis Parkway.
Senior Dance set at Trembling Earth The Ware County Recreation Department will host a Senior Dance from 7 to 10 p.m., Saturday, March 14 at the Trembling Earth Complex gym, 2109 Cecil Brown Drive. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Admission is $7 per person.
DJ Fred Hand will be playing all the oldies. There will be light refreshments and door prizes.

Candidates to visit GOP meeting The three candidates who qualified last week to seek the expiring District seat District 3 seat on the Ware County Commission will be guests at the Ware County Republican Party Monday, March 16 at Hog N Bones Restaurant, 1900 Memorial Drive.
The Dutch treat meal will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the candidates forum, including incumbent Timothy Lucas, and challengers Jonathan Daniell and Raylan V. Guy.
