Members of the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce gathered at Hearing Plus Audiology last week for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the business.
Originally opening in 2001 on Tebeau Street, Hearing Plus moved to its current location on Alice Street a couple of years later, and has been providing hearing healthcare for the community at that location since.
“We’re excited to be here for 25 years and support the community,” said Dr. Susan Swain, “not just in their hearing healthcare, but preventing decline, and helping people live their absolute best life.”
Dr. Swain spoke about the changes in her field over the years.
“One thing we know is that hearing loss and tinnitus are progressive degenerative disorders, and the other thing we know is: hearing technology continues to improve. So every day, we’re able to change people’s lives, help reduce their tinnitus, help improve their quality of life.”
For those wanting to learn more about hearing loss and treatment, more information can be found at Hearing Plus’ website, myhearingplus. com.
