Olive ‘Aileen’ Rozier

HORTENSE – Olive “Aileen” Rozier, 53 of Hortense, passed away earlier Thursday morning February 26, 2026), at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas after an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, her parents were Edward Timothy Rozier and Inez Driskell Rozier. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Ray Lee; a sister, Annette Marie Rozier; a nephew, Jody Miles Driskell; and an aunt, Ineva Rhoden.

Ms. Rozier was a bus driver for the Brantley County Bus barn and also worked at Dairy Queen. She loved taking care of her grandbabies, here children on the bus, and her customers at Dairy Queen.

Survivors include her daughter, Marie Rozier of Hortense; a son, Carl Rozier of Hortense; three grandchildren, Justin Mathis, Josheph Mathis and Sirena Mathis; a sister and brother-in-law, Janice Marie Crews (Michael) of Nahunta; a brother, Kelvin Lee Driskell of Waynesville; a nephew, Christian Crews (Pamela); two nieces, Melessa Davison (Kordd) and Makayla Douberly (Justin); her best friend, Diane Donahue; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

A funeral service was held Saturday morning, February 28, 2026 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Emory Wilson officiating.

Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
