A new Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) travel basketball program is launching in Pierce County. The program is currently recruiting boy and girl athletes in both middle school and high school who are motivated to grow, compete and elevate their game.
The program’s mission is to develop each player’s skills and to ensure a positive, competitive and enjoyable basketball experience. The primary focus will be on player development, team culture, sportsmanship and high-level competition.
Coach Tyreek Myles, with over 2 years of college basketball experience, and Coach Mike Flynn, a seasoned college basketball player, will lead the team alongside two assistant coaches well-versed in the game. The program will focus on developing each player’s skills, promoting teamwork and fostering a love for the game.
The coaching staff is described as knowledgeable, dedicated and ready to provide athletes with the guidance and support needed to succeed on and off the court.
