Tyre Reunion to meet March 7
The annual family reunion of the descendants of John Tyre, his first wife, Mary Jane Lightsey Tyre, and his second wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Eason Tyre, will be held Saturday, March 7, at the Long Branch Community Center, 3419 Long Branch Rd., Bristol, in Appling County.
Doors will open at 11 a.m. and a business meeting will begin at noon. A covered dish lunch will follow. Please notify all your family.
Please bring a favorite covered dish. Plates, cups, eating utensils and drinks will be provided.

Harris Reunion to meet March 8
The family of Mart & Lelia (Tatum) Harris will have their 2026 Family Reunion Sunday March 8 at 11:00 AM (Don't forget Daylight Savings Time!) at Laura S. Walker State Park—Shelter #4, 5653 Laura Walker Road, Waycross, GA 31503.
Please bring your favorite covered dish and dessert or beverage to share. The $5 park entry fee will be reimbursed if you show your pass.
