WAYCROSS — Mr. Robert Gibson Cannon, 64, died Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Hospice House Satilla following a long illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross and the son of the late Samuel M. Cannon and Martha Gibson Cannon. He was a career farmer with Strickland Farms.
Survivors include a son, Josh Cannon (Jenna) of Lexington, K.; two sisters, Brenda Cannon Ardoyno of Waycross and Sharon Cannon Anderson of Tifton; two brothers, Samuel M. Cannon, III and Wilton DeLoach (Sherry) both of Waycross; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, February 26 at Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will begin receiving friends at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
