BRUNSWICK — Jessica Rene Howard, 29 of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Southeast Georgia Health System after an extended illness.
Miss Howard was born in Waycross to James Henry Howard and Ann Catherine Broadbent Howard Heath. She lived in Brantley County most of her life and moved to Brunswick two years ago.
Miss Howard worked at Friendly Express on St. Simon’s Island. She loved music and was a collector especially of cups, key chains, and trinkets.
Miss Howard was preceded in death by her father, James Henry Howard.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Ann Broadbent Heath (Lane) of Nahunta; sister and brother-in-law, Jenna Rocca (Jonathan) of Nahunta and their daughters, Aurora, Eloise, Lily and Harper Rocca; brother, Jimbo Howard of Waynesville; sister, Miranda Heath of Nahunta; a niece that was like a sister, Heather Painter of Brunswick; special friend, Peter Palmer of Brunswick; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
