Dr. Walker Todd has been named the sole finalist for school superintendent for Brantley County Schools.
The Brantley County Board of Education named Todd as the finalist for superintendent during a called meeting Wednesday afternoon, February 11.
By state law, the school system must wait 14 days before finalizing the hire.
Todd is currently serving as principal at Brantley County High School a position he has held for the last four years.
Prior to that, Todd was the assistant superintendent for finance in Pierce County for two years, served as principal at Midway Elementary for 10 years and as an assistant principal at Blackshear Elementary for five years.
Todd and his wife, Jill, have two daughters, Leigha Todd and Logan Todd Cecil (husband Hunter) and three sons, Patrick, Griffin and Tucker O’Quinn.
