‘Night to Shine’

Special guests enjoy the evening

BLACKSHEAR — The red carpet was unfurled for over 100 special guests at the 4th annual Night to Shine held Friday, February 13, at the First Baptist Church (MAC Building) in Blackshear.

The unforgettable worldwide celebration event, centers on God’s love and honors and values people with special needs.

Guests enjoyed a red carpet entrance, paparazzi, hair and makeup stations, shoeshines, party bus rides, karaoke, dancing, gifts, a catered dinner, a sensory room and a respite room (for parents and caregivers and a crowning ceremony for kings and queens).

First Baptist Church and Destination Church, both of Blackshear, and Zion Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Ware County hosted the event.

Night to Shine is sponsored by The Tim Tebow Foundation. Tebow is a former standout quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner for the University of Florida Gators.

Nicholas Crews (top) and Brian Gibson (bottom) were among the attendees at a Friday’s ‘Night to Shine’, held at Blackshear’s First Baptist Church. The annual event is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation for those with special needs. These attendees have a prom-like party and are greeted and celebrated by the hosts and sponsors.
