REIDSVILLE — Tattnall County and Pierce County closed out the 2025-26 regular season with the host school completing a Region 3-AA season sweep here Saturday.
The Lady Warriors (148 overall, 7-1 region) rolled to a 54-23 victory over the ice-cold Lady Bears (6-16, 2-6) in the February 7 matchup. Tattnall County, which closed the season winning seven of its last eight games, prevailed 5636 in Bearville January 17.
The Warriors (7-18, 5-3) ended a three-game losing streak while handing the Bears (6-16, 2-6) a fourth consecutive loss with a 5852 victory in the nightcap. Tattnall County posted a 56-36 road win in the first meeting.
