Georgia State University
Alexis Cason and Kenan Grant of Blackshear were named to the President’s List of Georgia State University for the Fall 2025 semester.
To be eligible for the President’s List, degreeseeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 4.0 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.
Mercer University Mercer University recently announced the President’s List and Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester.
William Bates of Blackshear, sophomore, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Raegen Cauthen of Patterson, senior, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, both made the President’s List.
Addison Cantrell of Blackshear, junior, School of Business, made the Dean’s List.
Inclusion on these lists requires students to meet rigorous GPA standards specific to the college or school within the University.
LaGrange College
Riley Vaverchak of Blackshear was recently named to the LaGrange College Vice President of Academic Affairs’ List for the fall semester. To be eligible for this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.6 while taking a minimum course load of 12 hours.
