JESUP — Annelle Crews Harper, 86 of Jesup left this world Tuesday, February 3, 2026 to be with her Lord and Savior.
Mrs. Harper was born November 19, 1939 to Albert and Rose Lee Crews in Brantley County. She married the love of her life “Jimmie” Harold Harper July 27, 1958.
Mrs. Harper was a faithful Christian and member of Fellowship Bapt ist Church for 35 years, then a member of Red Hill Bapt ist Church and finally a member of Spring Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
She will be remembered for her love of her four children, church family and friends.
Her husband of 54 years went to be with his Lord June 12, 2012. Their 19-month old son, Johnny, also preceded her in death along with her only daughter, Anita Harper Conway; her parents; several siblings; and parents-in-law, Nolan and Cleo Wilson Harper.
Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-laws, Gene (Christy Hires) Harper and Rickey (Cindy) Harper, both of Jesup; a sister, Gonzella Thrift of Hoboken; grandchildren, Kenneth (Jennie) Hamby, Amy Landon Magan (Shane) Holmes, Kimberleigh Hamby, Michelle Dukes, Kassey Harper, Mason (Jaci) Shuman, Jason (Danielle) Martin, Hannah (Jadan) Johnson and Austin Crowder; several great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Friday, February 6, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Tim Brantley officiating.
Interment followed in Red Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Barry Lee, Randy Crew, Lamar Whitley, James Harper, Charles Terry, Ronald and Greg Thrift.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be mode to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, GA 31545.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.
