Sports physicals for the 2020-2021 school year for Pierce County Middle School and High School will take place Wednesday, June 10, at the high school.

Physicals for upcoming sixth-eighth graders will be from 1-2:30 p.m. and physicals for ninth-12th grade will take place from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Forms are available at PCHS by the front door or can be printed via the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) website.

Physicals are for any incoming students in the 6-12th grades and will be performed by local providers from Georgia Physicians South (GPS).

A $10 donation to the GPS Health Occupations Scholarship is requested.

Those seeking a physical are asked to bring a pre-participation physical packet including the history portion (page 1-2 of the packet) and the proof  of insurance form (page 5) must be completed and signed by the student’s parent/guardian and turned in at check in.

Packet and money already turned in to the middle school will be on site the day of the physicals.

A current physical must be on file with the student’s school in order to participate in any athletic activities (tryouts, summer workouts, practices, games, etc). This physical must be renewed annually. The physicals are required by the GHSA.

Social distancing measures will be taken based on state guidelines and advice from local health officials. Specific details will be announced in the days prior to the physicals.
