The Pierce County Lady Bears posted a pair of easy Region 1-AAA wins in tennis action last week beating Toombs County and Islands.
The Lady Bears captured a 5-0 win over the Lady Bulldogs winning three matches by forfeits. They followed that up with a 5-0 win over Islands.
PCHS hosted Class AAAA Wayne County Monday afternoon. The Lady Bears hosted region foe Tattnall County Tuesday and travel Thursday to Brooklet to face Southeast Bulloch.

PCHS won the three singles matches via forfeits and rolled to a pair of 6-0, 6-0 decisions in doubles action.
Serena Strickland and Amber Holland made quick work of Lexi and Lani Malone at No. 1 while Regan Sikes and Sadie Marfil blanked Melanie Smith and Madison Van Dyke.

The Lady Bears dropped just two games in the demolition of Islands.
Liza Hurst beat Catie Moye 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 in the closest singles match. Meagan Wright posted a 6-0, 6-0 win over J’lynn Brown with Deanna Jones posting the same score in beating Angel Zheng at No. 3.
Strickland and Haley Theis rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles over Karleigh Buchan and Maddie Bell. Sikes and Marfil blanked Camille Kim and Brittany Walker.
