Pierce County sophomore Natalie Herrin was named to Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Class AAA all-state team.

Herrin, the 2019-20 Region 2-AAA girls’ Player of the Year, averaged 16.6 points a game in helping lead head coach Laci Dowling’s squad to a school record 23-6 mark. The Lady Bears entered the region tournament as the top seed losing in the championship game to Tattnall County for a fourth consecutive year.

Herrin, who plays the point guard position, has scored 788 points (13.8 per game) during her first two seasons.
