The annual Graduation edition for the Pierce County Class of 2020 is here. Due to ongoing precautions as a result of COVID-19 the seniors from Pierce County High School will not receive their high school diplomas in the typical manner until July. However, this Friday, May 22, was the original date set for the graduation ceremony and the staff at The Times wants to extend our congratulations to our seniors, as they prepare for a new journey in life. All of their hard work and dedication has finally paid off in a big way.

Even though a ceremony will not be held this week, I hope you and your families enjoy this special time in your life. As a community, we know Pierce County will be well represented by members of the Class of 2020. I strongly encourage each of you to put your trust in God and continue to set goals for your future.

Thank you to the community for supporting The Times’ annual graduation edition. It’s truly one of our favorite issues to produce and would not be possible without your support.

God bless and best of luck to each member of this year’s class.
