Sharon Lawana Rigdon Aspinwall, 73, of McDonough, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Westbury Health & Rehabilitation Center in McDonough.

Born in Waycross June 16, 1948, she had lived in Pierce County most of her life. She loved to talk to people and never met a stranger. She had been a truck driver for many years with her last trucking job being for Boatright Trucking. She was a member of Bristol Baptist Church.

She was a daughter of the late Jean Flanigan and Bernice Blalock Rigdon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson Aspinwall and a brother, Bill Rigdon.

Survivors include her three sons, Lon Aspinwall, Jacksonville, Jeff (Melinda) Aspinwall, Dothan AL and Chris Aspinwall, Patterson; a sister, Sandra Hawkins, McDonough; a brother, Shelton (Wanda) Rigdon, Bristol; five grandchildren, Tristen Aspinwall, Alex Aspinwall, William Aspinwall, Vincent Aspinwall and Victoria Aspinwall and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the funeral home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines as well as the use of facemasks is strongly encouraged.
