Nancy Ann Richard Lavoie, 71, of Blackshear, passed away early Friday morning, July 19, 2019, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.
Born in Taunton, MA September 16, 1947, she had lived in Florida for many years prior to moving to Pierce County a year ago. She worked at different things over the years some of which were CNA, waitress, owning her own cleaning business, working at Walt Disney World and lastly as a pool monitor. She was of the Catholic faith and will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was a daughter of the late William and Lillian Frankur Richard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Lavoie and five of her brothers, Paul, Kenny, Eddie, Ronnie and Billy.
Survivors include her four daughters, Lori Ann Lavoie, Blackshear, Lynn Marie Grego, Diamond Head, MS, Christine Forrest, Blackshear and Lillian Marie Lavoie, Blackshear; two sons, David Lavoie, Ocoee, FL and Charles M. Lavoie, Warren, MI; two sisters, Joan Drury, Winter Springs, FL and Barbara Decosta, Fall River, MA; two brothers, Bobby Richard of North Carolina and Ray Richard of Massachusetts; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will have a celebration of life service at a later time.
Memorialization is by cremation.
