Margaret Anne Whitfield Boatright

Margaret Anne Whitfield Boatright, 79, of Patterson, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL, following a sudden illness.

Born in Patterson December 13, 1941, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life.  She was a graduate of Patterson High School.  She had been the secretary for WKUB radio for over 50 years and retired in 2019.  She enjoyed watching game shows such as “Wheel of Fortune” and “Family Feud” but her true hobby was taking care of her family and loving on her grandchildren.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Harold Whitfield and Grace Raulerson King. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Leslie Boatright, who passed away the day before her.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Thomas Franklin “Rab” Boatright, Patterson; her daughter, Anna Maria Boatright, Patterson; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Lisa Boatright, Patterson; three grandchildren, Hunter Boatright, Tyler Boatright, and Maggie Ann Boatright; two great-grandchildren, Browning Boatright and Gabbi Boatright and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Laura Chapel Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, from the Laura Chapel Cemetery.
