Kenneth Dwayne Cox, 53, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday morning, May 17, 2020, at his residence following an extended illness.
Born August 27, 1966 in Lakeland FL, he had lived in Camden County before moving to Pierce County in 2006. He was an owner/operator truck driver and was of the Methodist faith. He was a loving husband and always worked hard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Gerald Cox and a son, Jamie Purvis.
Survivors include his wife, Brandalyn Cox, Blackshear; four children, Kevin Dwayne Cox and Mikayla Rose Cox, both of Blackshear, Tiffany Brickey (husband Shane), Bartow, FL and Karley Cox of Florida; six grandchildren, Koby, Trenton, Kayden, Austin, Holly and Levi; mother, Sandra Robison Miller (husband Doug), Elizabethton, TN; brother, Shelby Cox (wife Kim), Lakeland, FL; sister, Kimmie Gull (husband DeWayne) of Florida; mother-in-law, Debra Morris, St. Marys; brother-in-law, James Morris Jr. (wife Heley) of Korea; sister-in-law, Sami Luffman (husband Mark), Woodbine and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
