Jearline Luke Crawford, 85, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 10, 2019, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Born in Blackshear, October 8, 1933, she had lived in Jacksonville, FL, prior to moving back to Pierce County in 1977. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene where she had been in the Senio Adult Sunday school class. She had been a great cook, a beautiful singer and enjoyed reading before her eyesight began to fail her. She loved to minister to people and was a strong prayer warrior. Being married for 64 years, she took care of her husband and children/grandchildren until the time came for them to take care of her – which they gladly did.

She was a daughter of the late Clinton and Pearl Pearson Luke.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Hubert Crawford, Blackshear; her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Don Reynolds, Jacksonville, FL; her son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Jennifer Crawford, Sumter, SC; her sister, Dorothy “Dot” Luke, Blackshear; two sisters-in-law, Clara Kimbrell, Mershon and Naomi (Morris) Henderson, Waycross; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Karen) Crawford, Blackshear and Wayne (Teressa) Crawford, Waycross; four grandchildren, Faith Sims (fiance’, Scott McGinley), Justin Reynolds, Hope (Edgar) Hernandez and Zach Crawford (Hailey Weber); five great-grandchildren, Grey, Kate, Lily, Aurora and Philip and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the funeral home.
