George Andrew Lovell

George Andrew Lovell, 38, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2020, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, following a short illness. 

Born July 22, 1982, he was a son of Ronnie Washington Lovell Sr. and the late Mildred Stone Lovell. He had lived all of his life in Blackshear and was a graduate of Pierce County High School. He had been employed at Piggly Wiggly in Blackshear.  

Survivors include his father, Ronnie Lovell Sr., Blackshear; sister, Susie Massey (husband Fred), Blackshear; two brothers, Ronnie Lovell Jr. (wife Melissa), Ft. Wayne, IN and Matt Lovell, Blackshear; eight nieces and nephews, Ashley Barry (husband Michael), Hartwell, Joe Prince (wife Destiny), Townsend, Amber Massey, Douglas, Stephanie Godwin and Marcus Godwin, both of Florida, and Blaze, Ryder and Olivia Lovell, all of Ft. Wayne, IN; three great-nieces, Evelyn Barry and Amara Barry, both of Hartwell and Elizabeth Prince, Townsend; aunts and uncles, Yvonne Murphy and Earl and Roselyn Lovell, all of Blackshear, Mitchell and Gloria Lovell, Sylvester, Barbara Crawford, Bristol, Pat Corbitt, Waycross, Geraldine Mixon, Fernandina Beach, FL, Travis Stone, Brunswick, and Bud Stone of Virginia and many cousins and other relatives. 

Visitiation will be from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, September 10, at Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, September 10, from the Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Edmund Thrift officiating.
