Elizabeth Adams Cuneo

Elizabeth Adams Cuneo, 91, of Blackshear died Friday, October 16, 2020, at her residence, after an extended illness.  

She was born in Waycross to the late George Watson Adams and Florence Elizabeth Moore Adams. She had made Waycross and Blackshear her home for her entire life. She was the secretary at Waycross High School for many years and a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Andy” Edward Cuneo and her brother, William Kenneth Adams Sr. 

Survivors include her children, Cindy Gray and her husband Kevin, Fordyce, AR and Mike Cuneo and his wife Robyn, Blackshear; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Brown, Ashley Brown, Maranda Shores and her husband Jasper, K.J. Gray, Andrew Cuneo, Ansley Cuneo and Abby Cuneo; seven great-grandchildren, Eriahn, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Ashlyn, River, Kyzin and Lakyn; one great-great-grandchild, C.J.; her nieces and nephews, William K. “Buba” Adams Jr., Beth Sellers, Becky Shugart, Bitsy Miles, Maryann Okeefe, Jimmy Cuneo and Bobby Cuneo; her caretakers, Martha, Sonya, Ashlie and Torey and numerous other relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 18, from the Oakland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, Georgia 31501.
