Deborah Sue White Chesser, 69, of Hoboken passed away Monday morning, July 25, 2022, at her residence, after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, her parents were James White and Elizabeth Glydewell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chesser; two sons, James Michael White and Billy Bland and a brother, Jimmy White.

She was a member of Ivory Palace Church. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, gardening, feeding the birds, fishing and shopping.

Survivors include her daughter, Christy Drury, Hoboken; six grandchildren, Casey Mendoza (Dabid), Kylee Moore, Lauren Moore, Remington Jordan, Brooke White and Alexis White; several great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles White (Sue) and John White, all of Hickox; a sister, Judy Griffin, Hickox and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 28,  from the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Rowell and Joyce Ann Long officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in the Raybon Community.

Pallbearers will be Dabid Mendoza, Travis Pittman, Brooks Crews, Jeremy Jones, Michael Moore and Charlie Peacock.
