Deborah Ann Griffin Winn

Deborah Ann Griffin Winn, 66, died Friday morning, January 10, 2020, in Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL, following a sudden illness.

She was born in Brunswick, had lived most of her life in Pierce County and had made her home in Waycross for the past 20 years. She was the wife of the late Arylon J. Winn and daughter of the late James R. Griffin and Emily A. Rowland Griffin. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Scott Tharon Griffin and Robert K. Griffin.

She was a graduate of Ware County High School and a graduate of Waycross-Ware Tech (now Coastal Pines Technical College) as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She retired in 2000 from the Pierce County Nursing Home as an Licensed Practical Nurse with many years of service.

She was a member of Martha Memorial Methodist Church near Bristol.

Survivors include a son, Corey Winn (wife Carla), Bristol; a granddaughter, Carlon Winn; two brothers, Terry Lee Griffin, Newberry, FL and James Eric Griffin (wife Ginger), Kingsland and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, from the Damascus Cemetery near Bristol with the Rev. Joe Thigpen officiating.
