Christine Fuller

Christine Fuller, 82, of Mershon, departed this life at 6 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2020, at her residence. 

She was born May 29, 1937 in Hahira to the late Nelson Miller and Louella Morgan Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Lee “Jack” Fuller Sr.; two sons, Otha Lee Fuller Jr. and Kenneth Fuller; one daughter, Janice Fuller; two sisters, Rosa Lee Miller and Simmie Christopher and four brothers, Henry Miller, Jessie James Miller, McArthur Miller and Charlie Henry Miller.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Anthony Steve (Gail) Fuller Sr., Blackshear; three daughters: Louella Fuller, Blackshear, Peggy Fuller, Mershon and Iris (Donald) Presley, Bristol; a granddaughter she raised as her own, Michelle (Shawn) Davis, and a niece she raised as her own, Lisa Miller; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Fuller, Jacksonville, FL; 10 grandchildren, Michelle Davis, Bridgett Fuller, Keisha Burgess, Renae Presley, Abijah Israel, Danyelle Fuller, Anthony Steve Fuller Jr., Abrienne Nichole Broadnax, Lance Holmes and Brad Holmes; 11 great-grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Grimes, St. Petersburg, FL; Johnnie Mae Miller, Waycross, Fannie Mae (Michael) Williams and Jerlene Miller, all of Waycross; two brothers, Richard (Ruth) Miller, Waycross and Junior Blossom Miller, Colquitt; one sister-in-law, Gerrie Miller, Waycross; three brothers-in-law, Claude (Hattie) Fuller, Alma, Jerry (Billie) Fuller, Baxley and  Robert (Joan) Fuller, Jacksonville, FL; a special best friend Dorciel Smiley, Baxley and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and loving friends.

Visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb.  22, at the funeral home, 505 Ware Street, Blackshear.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, from the Evergreen Church, 4100 Georgia Highway 32, Bristol. Pastor Nathaniel Anderson will bring words of comfort. 

Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Mershon.
