Amanda Sue Lowmon, 39, of Offerman, passed away Sunday evening, July 4, 2021, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born January 27, 1982 in Waycross, she was a daughter of William Morgan Lowmon and Kathy Sue Melton Lowmon. She had lived all of her life in Pierce County and was a 2000 graduate of Pierce County High School. She had worked as a sitter for the elderly and as a clerk at the Dollar Tree. She attended Bristol Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenneth Lavoid Lowmon and Nola Mae Thomas Lee and her maternal grandparents, James Lamar Melton and Betty Lee Herrin.
Survivors include her two sons, Anthony Michael Vasquez and Matthew Dylan Vasquez, both of Offerman; her mother, Kathy Sue Melton Lowmon, Blackshear; her father, William Morgan Lowmon, Blackshear; a brother, William Morgan Lowmon II, Blackshear and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, July 15, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 15, from the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery.
