An argument between a father and son resulted in a shooting and an arrest in the Walkerville area Monday evening.
Sheriff Ramsey Bennett said Eddie Clay Teston, 41, of a Patterson address and Ethan Teston, 20, of a Blackshear address, became involved in an altercation at the younger Teston’s home on Lee Road Monday evening.
‘“At some point the altercation escalated and Ethan went to the home and got a small caliber rifle and fired several times hitting his father multiple times,” said Bennett.
Eddie Teston was transported by Pierce County EMS to Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. None of his injuries are believed to be life threatening, though one shot reportedly broke Teston’s leg.
Ethan Teston has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery. He was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the Pierce County Jail.
