Rios earns car

Local Mark Kay Independent Sales Director Heather Rios, left, and her husband, Adrian, receive the keys to her new Mary Kay vehicle.

Heather Rios has a new ride.

Rios picked up her new wheels last Thursday as a result of her outstanding achievements in her Mary Kay business.

The longtime high school Spanish teacher and Blackshear resident is an independent sales director for Mary Kay cosmetics.

She has earned the use of a new Chevy Traverse 1LT. Rios picked up her new Chevy Traverse 1LT, her third Mary Kay Career Car, at Walker Jones GMC Cadillac Chevrolet in Waycross.  Mary Kay independent sales force members earn the use of a career car by meeting and exceeding goals set within their Mary Kay businesses. Rios was joined at the key presentation ceremony by her husband, Adrian, and fellow Mary Kay independent beauty consultants Emily Bazemore, Andrea Dixon, Amy Hitt and Lynn Walker.

Rios began her Mary Kay business as an independent beauty consultant in February 2018 and as a direct result of her accomplishments, became an independent sales director in August 2018.  As an independent sales director, she chooses to provide education, leadership and motivation to other Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants and offers her customers high-quality Mary Kay® products.

“I am super excited and feel so blessed,” said Rios. “This accomplishment is just proof that people love Mary Kay skincare and cosmetics and the women working their Mary Kay businesses are succeeding at helping others.”

The Career Car Program includes the Chevy Equinox, Chevy Traverse, Chevy Camaro, Chevy Colorado, Chevy Malibu and the iconic and coveted pearlized pink Cadillac, a signature color to the Mary Kay Career Car Program.

Since the Mary Kay Career Car Program’s inception in 1969, more than 170,000 independent sales force members have qualified or re-qualified to earn the use of a Mary Kay Career Car. Currently there are more than 3,600 Mary Kay Career Cars on the road nationwide.
