Okefenokee FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has launched a campaign to utilize #GivingTuesday, November 30, to raise funds to provide a personalized FCA Bible to every senior athlete in Bacon, Brantley, Pierce, and Ware counties.

There’s Black Friday, and recently Cyber Monday has become a household name, but there is also GivingTuesday. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

The cost to reach this goal is approximately $5,000. FCA has been blessed to have an anonymous donor to provide a matching gift of $2,500 to help us reach the goal. Please consider supporting the effort to put the Word of God in the hands of senior athletes. Each gift toward this project will be matched up to $2,500.

Gifts can be given online by visiting http://www.okefca.org/donate and clicking on Bible Fund. Checks made payable to FCA can be sent to: Okefenokee FCA 3319 Katie Drive Blackshear, GA, 31516. For more information, contact Okefenokee FCA Director Toby Crews at tcrews@fca.org or 912-281-9510.
